Employee Appreciation Tournament
Honesdale Golf Club is proud to host the second annual Employee Takeover Tournament (Employee Appreciation Day) - where all proceeds directly benefit all of the "real staff"! If you can't make it to the tournament, feel free to join us for lunch or dinner, or if you would like to send your special thank you, click on the link below to send your tip and donation electronically! The cost of the day depends on you, read below for more details!
Saturday it is all about golf and shenanigans to celebrate 2021. As we continue to thank our awesome Employees, we would like to invite you, to this exciting tournament - where the board and select members will become your servants, I mean new vol-untold employees for the day, as our "real employees" enjoy their take over appreciation day with you there too!
Usually, we send a nice e-mail to you to encourage you to play in our tournaments!
Well, this e-mail isn't for you. See the details below, and if you like to reserve your foursome, you better sign up now online. If you can't make it, we take plastic too electronically. This may be your best day to golf in 2021 at Honesdale Golf Club.
Employee Appreciation Tournament Details
- Date: Sunday, October 17, 2021
- Arrival Time: 11:00 AM Setup your cart and pickup lunch at the club house to socialize with all of our "real employees" who will be playing in the tournament with each foursome!
- Tee Time: 12:00 PM Shotgun start
- Open to All Members Ladies and Gentlemen
- 3-4 Person Teams. (Staff Members will be added to your foursome!)
- Please plan your teams accordingly, or individuals will be placed into a foursome.
- Better Ball - Scramble - Captain and Crew - take the best shot – 9 Holes
- Bar Beverages of Your Choice with beers or well drinks
- The lunch and dinner menu will include Sausage and Biscuits, Chili, Chili Dogs, Hamburgers, and whatever our guest chefs decide to serve, but we promise you will love this special menu.
- Includes Golf Cart and Round of Golf
- Fee per person (While this is up to you - we ask that you set the price for the tournament by paying what you want, you pay for lunch as you see fit, and remember to tip your servers - which will be select vol-untold board members and members, giving all of the tips to the "real staff!"
- Include your team mates on your online registration
- Online Registrations are required to reserve your spot in the Employee Takeover - Appreciation Tournament!
- First Come First Serve Basis
- A true day of Great Fun and Shenanigans
- Oh yea, and there will be surprises on the course of play with some special rules! Remember Chris Moran needs his revenge too, so since its an employee take over tournament - let's just call this the Superintendent's Revenge!
- Prizes - From the Pro Shop! Not this time, well because it's not your day!
- Special Games - Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and three flight winners
- All proceeds benefit our employees who are the best ______ ________ employees we could ever _____ dream for! (You can fill in the blank with your adjective there)
